Moving to Ternopil and Launching Our Blogs
I'm living in Ternopil at the moment. We just moved here from Kremenets, which is about a 45-minute drive from here, closer to Pochaiv. I've been in Ukraine for about 6 years now, with a one-year gap in there spent in Canada :)

We have a musical project ("gurt" in Ukrainian) called Ummagma - it's basically me and my husband Alexx. We've been gradually building up a huge archives of our own tunes, which my handy husband has been recording over the past eight years.
A few months ago, we put our music 'out there' on SoundCloud for some basic feedback to determine whether this is something we should continue to share via the internet and we were so enthralled with the feedback that we received that we decided to take this one step further.

Recently we launched a blog on ReverbNation with respect to Ummagma, which I'll share with you here:

First Ummagma blog entry - WE ARE HERE
It's been about a month since Ummagma decided to establish an internet presence. While we were on Soundcloud earlier on (and still are) and went through a 'public reaction testing' phase there, we have since decided that expanding our internet resources would be a good thing to do. So we've gotten onto YouTube, Facebook and ReverbNation since then and we are still trying to figure out all the features and options available for even these pages, let alone launching new pages on other sites - we aim to open a page on Twitter, LastFM and BandCamp, among others.

So this is a start - and this is how we have begun to connect with like-minded people all over the planet within the past month. It has been a gratifying experience. Hello to all our new friends and fans - in North America, in Europe, in Asia and in Africa. We are only missing South America and Australia at the moment, but I think that will change within the next month, as things are happening quickly for us :)

What can you do to help? Share the music with your own friends, family and colleagues, just as we are doing within our own capacity…. Share the music, share the love. We are also open to any feedback or suggestions that you want to send our way (you can write us directly and don't be shy to use the a comments section on our ReverbNation page).

In appreciation of your attention, Shauna McLarnon and Alexx (Sasha) Kretov (the two souls forming Ummagma)

Introducing our band Ummagma
Ummagma is a Ukrainian / Canadian indie post-rock duo offering easy positive progressive music with richly layered etheric soundscapes and resonant sound. This is a duo formed of Alexx Kretov (composition, instruments, arrangement, recording, vocals) and Shauna McLarnon (vocals, composition, lyrics). For Alexx, making music began in childhood and recording began with a double-deck recorder. Shauna’s experience in creating music began with acappella compositions while attending university. This joint project began as an affair with love and sound in Moscow back in 2003.
The musical style is vacillating and broad, ranging from 3-minute songs to lengthy landscapes of pulsating sound.

Sounds similar to: Cocteau Twins, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd, AIR, Sigur Rós, Stereolab, Bowery Electric, Michael Brook
